There's a certain something in writing a character you thoroughly planned to hate.
She's the unspoken, unseen but often mentioned Amber from Scoring Lacey. She's the little so-and-so responsible for the demise of Lacey's marriage when her husband becomes involved with a twenty-two year old.
So why, you ask, did I pair this girl up Todd?
I wish I had a solid answer. I mean it's going to be hard to redeem her. Her actions destroyed a lot of lives - including her own. It's going to have to take a lot of work to turn her from temptress to heroine. And when she becomes involved with Todd the ripples are going to resemble tsunamis. His family isn't going to exactly embrace this are they?
And considering how much Todd loves his family...
Oh the fallout. It's going to be bloody.
But, I wonder, will it be a good read? Will I do enough to turn this character around in everyone's eyes? Fictional and real?
Guess I'm about to find out.
So yes...this is Todd's heroine. Not Shannon...but the girl responsible for hurting his sister and nieces.
I'm a little evil.

Nothing wrong with a little evil in your life.
Exactly!
Actually a coworker told me last week at a meeting that I was evil when I & two others put mint tin foil wrappers in another coworkers hoodies.
I really am evil and not at all mature.
