Only In My Dreams

Last week I had a dream that I was giving a talk about writing. I'm not sure why. It seemed that it was some kind of class project and we all had to get up to defend the stories we had written. Class? Not even sure who was in it though I recognized some faces from high school. -shrugs-. I blame Facebook for that one. Anywho, finally it was my term to discuss my story and answer any questions. I can't remember any of the questions but one.

This guy I'd gone to school with since grade 5/6 asked "I have a question about Mia. Now, clearly she's a bitch but how'd you make her likable?" To which I said "Thanks for finding my peeve. Just because a character is strong doesn't make her a bitch." And then I woke up and I went "Who's Mia? And why is she tough?" because clearly it's important if the two things stand out right? And I remembered Mia.

I've been rolling the name around in my head trying to figure out this girl. My thought process went like this "Mia? That's Missing In Action." And...well. As if that hasn't opened a can of worms in my head now. After I finish the current w.i.p., I may be getting back to the zodiac bad asses I started with. Hm. Dreams. Nothing but trouble.
